Clippesby Hall offers self catering holiday accommodation in an ideal location for exploring the Norfolk Broads National Park. This unique network of lakes and waterways has so much to offer and you also have the delights of the Norfolk coastline, with its wonderful beaches nearby. With good links to Great Yarmouth and Norwich, this is a convenient holiday location with plenty of attractions to suit all ages.
There is an award-winning information centre at Clippesby Hall which provides a wealth of information to help you plan and enjoy your stay where you can enjoy cycling, walking, boating, fishing and bird watching. A booking service for bike and canoe hire is available, along with a wide range of maps, routes and excellent local knowledge, ensuring you discover all the hidden treasures that the Norfolk Broads has to offer.
Clippesby Hall sits in the heart of the Norfolk Broads National Park and offers a wide range of accommodation options including family touring, cool camping and self-catering in one of the holiday lodges, cottages or apartments. Facilities at Clippesby Hall are excellent and include a swimming pool, mini golf, tennis courts, cycle hire, coffee shop, restaurant, bar and Wi-Fi access, allowing you to keep in touch with the outside world.
If you are not content with simply relaxing at Clippesby and enjoying the facilities on-site, there are plenty of places to visit and things to do. Explore the Broads on foot, in a canoe, by bike or hire your own cruiser for the day, to discover the unique picturesque scenery which is a haven for wildlife. Visit the pretty village of Ranworth, with its medieval church and free interpretation centre and boardwalk, or cycle to How Hill for a picnic by the river and afterwards you can explore the wildlife water trail aboard the Electric Eel. Stroll around Hickling Broad Nature Reserve and take a guided boat trip through the quiet backwaters of the Broads.
Children will enjoy a day at BeWILDerwood, an imaginative and wild adventure park with magical treehouses and fascinating characters. Adults can enjoy a visit to one of the many distinctive gardens in Norfolk.
Clippesby is ideally placed for visiting Norwich, one of the countries top shopping destinations, packed full of history and atmosphere with its castle, medieval lanes and cathedral. Great Yarmouth is within easy reach and one of the finest, traditional seaside resorts with its award-winning Time & Tide museum, historic South Quay, heritage walks and traditional seafront with Sea Life centre, Pleasure Beach, piers and circus. There are also several heritage railways operating in Norfolk which connect to the mainline network, including the Bure Valley Railway at Wroxham, the Mid Norfolk Railway at Wymondham and the North Norfolk ‘Poppy Line’ at Sheringham.

Coach House sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms and is an attractive detached holiday cottage that sits at the heart of Clippesby Hall’s family holiday park. With a wonderful sense of space and a cool contemporary feel, it is the perfect place for groups of friends or family to relax and unwind.

Comfortable open plan living/dining/kitchen area.
Kitchen area with good range of appliances including electric oven and hobs, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a large pine dining table with seating for eight and the kitchen leads into a large utility room with washer/dryer and the oil-fired boiler for the central and under floor heating system.
Downstairs family bathroom with bath, sink and WC together with heated towel rail.
Living area with comfortable leather sofas, flat screen television including Freeview, DVD player and wall-mounted electric fire providing an instant cosy atmosphere. A door from this room takes you out to the rear courtyard - a real sun trap which is ideal for barbeque, picnic or early evening drink.
One large downstairs double bedroom with en-suite wet room including shower, hand basin and WC. There is plenty of storage space and a door to the side of the cottage. The ground floor is on one level without any steps, so suitable for those with restricted mobility.
Upstairs there are three further bedrooms, one large double with en-suite shower room and two twin bedrooms (one with plenty of room for a cot). All have Velux windows providing a light and airy feel
Separate toilet upstairs.
Additional information: Oil fired central and under floor heating is included in the price as is electricity and bed linen (except towels and cot bedding). Free tennis and swimming available to guests (May to September). Towels, cot and high chair are available to hire on request. Changeover day is Saturday during school holidays but can be flexible at other times.
