Brightside sleeps up to six guests and is located in the heart of the Norfolk village of Wroxham, Broadlands' liveliest village. This is a superb location for sailing, fishing and bird watching and is a detached waterside property that sits just off the main River Bure. This modern comfortably furnished home makes a perfect all year round retreat offering all home comforts. Guests also benefit from the use of a rowing dinghy.
The River Bure divides Wroxham and Hoveton, with the two villages commonly called Wroxham, one of the major boat hire centres on the Norfolk Broads. Daily boat hire, river trips, sailing (including tuition), fishing (in season with permit), walking, nature trails, cycling, golf and a leisure centre can all be found locally. Sandy beaches are nearby (twelve miles) whilst Norwich with its cathedral, castle museum, shopping and theatre is only 8 miles away. Shops and pubs are just a short stroll (eight hundred meters).
Wroxham is renowned for being the capital of the Norfolk Broads, where in the 1800's, boating holidays started. Over the years, it has become popular as a holiday destination with hotels, gift shops and tea rooms popping up near the river, attracting holidaymakers. There is a wide selection of shops, with the most famous being Roys of Wroxham - possibly the largest village shop in the country.

Offering comfortable accommodation, this cottage is situated in a quiet backwater. It is ideal for couples or families, and you may enjoy feeding the swans and ducks, which will come up to the door. Fishing can also be enjoyed from the waterside garden.

Outside: Paved patio and grass to rear, quay heading and decking. Access to a dyke which in turn leads to the main river. Parking for one car.
Additional information: Bed linen and duvets are provided. Electricity and gas central heating are included. There is the use of a rowing dinghy (care should be taken with small children close to the waters edge). Sorry no pets. Short breaks may be available - please enquire with owner.
