Tide is ideally located in an enviable position
overlooking the Norfolk coastline on a pet friendly, peaceful holiday park. This lovely holiday home sits in the small
village of Bacton with direct access onto the sandy beach which is just yards away
from the front door.
At Tides you have miles of wonderful coastline on
your doorstep with fantastic scenic walks to enjoy. With thirteen acres of grassland, the park is suitable
for pets and there is a small childrens’
playground on site.
Tides accommodates four
guests in two bedrooms with modern accommodation that is all on one level, making it suitable for everyone from the elderly to small children. It affords views over the park and beyond to the sea and provides a peaceful retreat to relax and enjoy the sea air and all the coastline has to
offer. It is also an excellent base from which to explore the area beyond.
The beach is just yards away from
Tides and is accessed via steps that are within a short stroll. The beach comes
and goes with the tide but manages to escape the crowds as there is no public
access from the village. On a sunny day,
you could not wish for a more relaxing and peaceful setting and during the winter
months, the sea still has much to offer, with fantastic tides that come crashing
against the sea walls and bracing coastal walks to enjoy.
For those who want to venture
further afield, there are plenty of things to see and do in this area.
The Norfolk Broads are just a short drive
away, as is the historic town of Norwich with its beautiful cathedral and the seaside towns of Sheringham, Cromer and Great
Yarmouth. Stow Windmill, numerous stately homes, Happisburgh lighthouse, family theme parks and much more are also within easy reach. The
area is also great for bird watching, fishing, walking and spotting
the occasional seal bobbing in the waves!

Tides is well equipped and accommodates up to four guests in two bedrooms.
Accommodation and facilities:
As you enter Tides you go into a large open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with two sofas, dining table plus four chairs, large flat screen LCD television with Freeview and DVD/CD player. The property has a ceramic tiled floor throughout.
The kitchen area has a ceramic hob, built in electric oven, cooker hood, large fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and washing machine.
The lounge takes you into the inner hall where shoes and coats can be stored.
The hall leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom.
The main bedroom has a double bed with bedside drawers, wardrobe and large chest of drawers.
The second bedroom has a three foot bed with a pull out two foot six bed and wardrobe. A cot can easily be accommodated when only one bed is out.
Bathroom with a shower (over the bath), WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.
Outside: There is a decked terrace/balcony with a gate which provides a secure area for small children or dogs. A patio table and four chairs are provided as is a small occasional table. In front of the cottage there is a grassed area and guests have the use of a numbered parking space nearby with additional visitors spaces on site if required. The park has over ten acres of grassland with picnic benches dotted around and there is a small childrens playground.
Additional information: One or two dogs are welcome - an extra cost of £5 per dog per night will apply or £25 per dog per week. Bed linen and electricity are included in the price but please bring your own bath and kitchen towels. There are radiators in the property for the colder months and a portable fan heater for extra heat if required. There is limited Wi-Fi access available at cost, currently in the on-site office, but not necessarily the property. Tides is available all year round for short breaks of three to four nights or weekly bookings. Weekly bookings run from a Monday or Friday. Standard short breaks start on a Friday for three nights or a Monday for four nights. Other short breaks with varying start dates are advertised as availability arises.
Payment methods: Bank transfer is the preferred method but cheque and Paypal (at a small additional fee) are also accepted.

Just like to say thank you for our lovely weekend break. Your personal touches made it very welcoming especially the little fish ice cubes and loving the stylish black heater. Nice hearing the tide instead of traffic, very peaceful and tranquil. It was a lovely break for our two year anniversary and a pleasure to be the first to stay. Many Thanks C & N Essex
