Hope Cottage sleeps two guests and is located close to the heart of the village of Erpingham. This cosy cottage is a mile from the local shops at Aldborough which has seasonal cricket matches on the village green, and just a short stroll from the village pub serving meals.

The village is surrounded by meadows and farmland and is within easy driving distance of the Norfolk coastline which is just five miles away and the friendly market town of Aylsham which is four miles. The famous Norfolk Broads are within easy reach and the Cathedral city of Norwich is a twenty minute drive with its excellent selection of eating establishments, shops and attractions including the Erpingham Gate which stands opposite the west front of Norwich Cathedral.

Cley Marshes, one of Britain’s best sites for bird watching, is just thirty minutes drive from the cottage and guests can enjoy boat trips to the Tern and Seal colonies at Blakeney and walks through Holt Country Park. The Weavers Way walk passes nearby the cottage, just over the fields, and takes you across Thwaite common, with many different species of wild flowers and birds. Continue on to the spectacular 17thc Blickling Hall which is surrounded by National Trust land.
