Coots is a stylish yet cosy two bedroom holiday apartment that is located in the picturesque Norfolk village of Horning in the very heart of the Norfolk Broads. It is perfect for couples or families and can accommodate parties of up to four guests with a discount being offered for two guests only.
Newly refurbished in 2011, Coots is well presented and fully equipped to provide a perfect retreat from which to explore the Norfolk Broads and its many attractions.
This ancient riverside village has much to offer with several restaurants, three pubs, Post Office, butcher, newsagents/off license/general store, gift shop, leisure centre with swimming pool spa and fitness centre and an excellent delicatessen - all within a short walk from Coots.
Possibly one of the prettiest villages in the Norfolk Broads, Horning has a village green where you can sit and watch the boats go by. Boat hire is available from a number of the boat yards in the village allowing you to explore the river and waterways which are a haven for wild and birdlife. The Mississipi River Boat provides river cruises from the village throughout the summer months.
The Norfolk Broads offer plenty of attractions and activities to enjoy. Fishing is a popular pursuit in the Broads and nature lovers and walkers can enjoy bird sanctuaries, lovely riverside walks, nature trails and gardens all just waiting to be explored. The area is also popular with cyclists and sailors.
The village of Wroxham (referred to as the 'Capital of the Norfolk Broads') is only three miles away from Coots with the famous Roys of Wroxham for shopping. The historic medieval City of Norwich with its shops, fine buildings and stately homes is twelve miles away and the North Norfolk coastline with its sandy beaches, seafront amusements at Cromer and Sheringham and seal watching at Blakeney are all within a thirty minute drive. Also just thirty minutes away by car is Great Yarmouth with its marine centre and fun fair. Norwich Airport is approximately twenty minutes.

Coots provides open plan holiday accommodation with the following facilities:
Comfortable sitting area with sofa, tub chair, 32” widescreen television and DVD player.
Dining area with table and four chairs.
Kitchen area with built in fridge, microwave oven, electric hob unit and cooker. There is also a washing machine and laundry facilities.
Double bedroom with large wardrobe and en-suite shower room with heated towel rail.
Additional en-suite double room with television and tea and coffee making facilities.
Additional information: There are convector heaters in the living area and bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. The price includes bed linen, towels and electricity. Change-over day is Friday. The apartment is available all year round with short breaks being offered out of season. Sorry no pets and not suitable for disabled or children under fourteen. Coots is strictly no smoking. A £50 a week discount for two people is offered.
