5 Hawthorn Cottages is a charming self catering holiday cottage that is located in the pretty Norfolk village of Dersingham.
The cottage can accommodate up to four guests in two bedrooms and is located close to the Sandringham Royal Estate and the unspoilt Norfolk coastline with its fabulous beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Hunstanton. Hunstanton is just five miles away from the cottage and is a popular seaside resort with its sandy beach, donkey rides, indoor swimming pool and Sealife Sanctuary - plenty to keep the children amused.
The village of Snettisham is just two miles away - surrounded by fenland and bird sanctuaries, it is a bird watchers paradise and also well known for its 'gingerbread houses', shingle beach and Park Farm - a real working farm where you can meet the animals.
Other attractions include RSPB Reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham (as mentioned above), the market town of King's Lynn with its medieval port, Norfolk Lavender, Welney Wetland Centre, The Butterfly and Wildlife Park and Fakenham Race Course.
Dersingham is within West Norfolk, nestling within the embrace of The Sandringham Royal Estate and surrounded by lovely countryside and woodland. It has a good selection of amenities including a garden centre with coffee shop, supermarket, take-away, church and two pubs offering meals.
