The Lodge is located on the edge of the New Forest within the grounds belonging to Croft Cottage, the owners pretty 16th Century thatched home. It has been run as part of a Bed and Breakfast previously but has now been converted for self-catering to accommodate parties of up to six guests .
Set in two acres of gardens, paddocks and play areas, this is an ideal place fo adults and children who want to relax in a delightful environment.
Adjacent to Sandy Balls Estate, guests staying at The Lodge have the benefit of being able to use their superb facilities which are open to the public including: an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools (not available during August), horse riding, sauna, gym, fishing in the river Avon, restaurants and shops. There is also golf available nearby.
The little village of Godshill is located on the north western edge of The New Forest and offers direct access into the forest where you can enjoy superb walks, see an abundance of wild life and sample the many great local pubs serving excellent food.
This is a perfect place for touring with popular places to visit including Salisbury, Bournemouth and the south coast, Stonehenge, Southampton with its ferry port and international airport and Winchester all within approximately thirty minutes by car.
Alternatively stay locally and enjoy the many attractions that the New Forest has to offer.

The Lodge is located within the grounds of Croft Cottage and is a well insulated oak framed wooden lodge with a pleasant outlook over the cottage orchard on the Western side and the paddock and vegetable plot on the North.

Downstairs:
Open plan living room comprising of three main areas: Sitting area with sofa bed, television and DVD player (can be screened off by a curtain); Fully fitted new kitchen which includes a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, four burner hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, George Forman Grill and a dining table with six chairs; and a bathroom with whirlpool bath, toilet and washbasin.
Upstairs:
One very large bedroom with en suite shower and toilet. This room is open plan and contains a king size bed which has a double bunk above, two sofa beds, television, digital radio and DVD player.
Additional information: Bed linen and towels are provided. Cot provided. There is internet access. Outside the Lodge there is a barbeque (guests supply their own charcoal), bench and table with chairs.
