Hurstly Cottage (No. 2) is an idyllic holiday country retreat, that sits deep into a secluded and pretty garden on the edge of the New Forest National Park. Ideal for family holidays or a romantic break, the holiday cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is in very good decorative order throughout with antique furniture and comfortable beds.
The Cottage is accessed by a private driveway off a country lane and provides all the privacy one could wish for whilst being conveniently located just a few minutes drive from both Brockenhurst and Lymington.
There are plenty of forest walks to be enjoyed straight from the cottage and wildlife is abundant here. Leaving on foot by either gate, you can stroll down to the river in Royden or walk across open heathland and takei in the sweeping views. There is a very good local pub which is just a five minute walk from the cottage and three others that are also within walking distance - all serving great food.

Bedroom one - Superking bed and Balcony.
Bedroom two - either superking bed or two singles.
Bedroom three - Walk through bedroom otherwise set out as study/reading room, has full sized bunks with sitting headroom.
Shower room with W.C. and washbasin.
Downstairs
Large oak kitchen/breakfast room with fridge/freezer, professional style cooker, microwave, blender, kettle, toaster etc. French windows onto patio.
Dining Room with open fireplace.

Downstairs bathroom with giant double ended bath.
Utility room with washing machine and bar fridge.
Outside - There is a family size gas fired barbecue, patio with outside table and chairs and beautiful gardens with lawns for lazing on and rustic furniture.
Additional information: Two cots, a high chair and stair gate are available for guests use.
This is a perfect base in the forest to spend a holiday where you are only minutes from the sea with beaches, yacht charter, fishing expeditions and half hourly ferry links to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle.
