One of the prettiest Victorian cottages in Lyndhurst, in the heart of the New Forest, Hampshire. The open forest is but a few strides away, where New Forest ponies, donkeys and cattle graze just yards from this New Forest holiday cottage. Lyndhurst village centre with its wide choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants is only a few minutes walk away.
The New Forest with its miles of heath and woodland is the perfect place to walk, cycle or horse ride for all the family.
Enjoy a cream tea in one of the many tea rooms throughout the New Forest.
A few miles away is the pretty village of Beaulieu, the home of the National Motor Museum and historical Buckler's Hard.
Exbury Gardens, owned by the Rothschild family, is famous for its beautiful collection of plants and flowers.
A 30 minute drive away are the beautiful sandy beaches of Bournemouth and Sandbanks.
Paultons Park has lots of rides and attractions. Paultons is just ten minutes away and is always a favourite with children.
Marwell Zoological Park, Monkey World and the Otter, Owl and Wildlife Centre all make a great day out for the family.
Take a day trip to the Isle of Wight on the Lymington to Yarmouth ferry. A great day out for all ages.

Facilities comprise of:
An oak-beamed living room with a large open fire, TV, DVD and CD player, furnished with contemporary but comfortable seating.
A fully equipped modern kitchen with dual fuel range cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine.
The cosy dining room has seating for four people.
Modern bathroom with bath and shower.
Two bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom has a Victorian fireplace and a double bed with wonderful views over the forest. Wake up early to watch the sun rise over the Racecourse and watch ponies feeding their foals in the early morning sunshine. The second bedroom has twin beds.
Patio at the front of the cottage where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching ponies doze in the sunshine. BBQ and charcoal are kept in the shed. There is a secure area for bikes etc at the side of the cottage.

The cottage has gas central heating.
A welcome pack of freshly baked bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee and orange juice is provided on arrival.
One small well behaved dog with own bed welcome.
Short breaks are offered - please speak to the owner regarding the short break rates.
