Drift Cottage is a three bedroom semi detached Victorian holiday home, which has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The owners have paid great care and attention to preserve the cottages original features and original stripped pine doors, pine staircase and luxurious furnishings all make this cottage a delightful place to spend a holiday.
The cottage is situated in a quiet cul de sac and sleeps up to five guests and is perfect for families who want a holiday exploring the beautiful New Forest with all its many attractions. There are two pubs within one hundred and fifty yards, a further ten minute stroll takes you into the historic market town of Ringwood known as the western gateway to the New Forest. Here you will find all you need in this picturesque little town with its many unique shops and its excellent choice of restaurants and bars. The Wednesday street market has been held here for 780 years and is a great place to pick up some local produce!
Ringwood’s unique location between coast and forest, makes it an ideal base to visit the pretty New Forest villages such as Burley (two miles) where ponies and cattle roam freely and where you can hire bikes or enjoy a game of golf. Bournemouth, with seven miles of award winning sandy beaches, is only twelve miles (fifteen minutes drive) away and other places of interest worth visiting include:
Ashley Heath (three miles) Moors Valley Country Park - Go Ape! Verwood Heavy Horse Centre, Tractor rides, farm animals.
Poole, (thirteen miles) - Condor Ferries day trips to the Channel Islands.
Wool (twenty two miles) - Monkey world Ape rescue centre.
Bovington (twenty three miles) - Tank museum.
Beaulieu (twenty one miles) - National motor museum, Bucklers Hard historic village.
Lymington (twenty three miles) - Wight Link ferry, day trips to Isle of Wight.

Spacious kitchen/breakfast room with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, circular pine table and chairs situated by French doors overlooking the patio and rear garden. There is also a wall mounted LED television/DVD Combi.
Bedroom one with king size Victorian bedstead, bedside tables, dressing mirror, and fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom two with double bedstead, bedside tables, and wardrobe.
Bedroom three with single bed (3foot), bedside table and wardrobe.
Bathroom with modern suite comprising of bath with hand shower attachment, washbasin, WC and separate large walk in shower cubicle with large fixed head shower.
