Abergwynfi Cottage has recently been renovated and provides holiday accommodation for up to six guests in three bedrooms. It is situated in the picturesque Afan Valley in West Glamorgan, South Wales. Abergwynfi village is near to the renowned Afan Forest Mountain Bike Centre, Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre and Ponds in Port Talbot and the stunning Bwlch Mountain, making it an ideal location for those who enjoy the Great Outdoors.
There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy amongst spectacular scenery and a good selection of attractions for those who want to explore the area. Afan Forest Park is very popular with mountain bikers, walker and cyclists with nine thousand acres of forests and woodland to explore, along with a visitor centre, cycling tracks and top mountain bike trails. The Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre is located in the heart of Afan Valley Forest Park where you can hire bikes, join the 'Skyline' and 'Whites Level' mountain bike trails, have a snack in the cafe or enjoy fishing and water activities on one of the three ponds.
Other local attractions and activities include sailing and yacht hire from Oxwich Bay and The Gower and Swansea Marina; Penderyn Distillery - the home of Welsh Whiskey; horse riding at Cimla riding centre; Go Ape Centre at Margam Park; Aberavon Beach - a beautiful three mile Blue Flag sandy beach where you can enjoy surfing or relaxing and Vale of Neath Waterfalls to name just a few!

Abergwynfi Cottage is an end of terrace, two storey, three bedroom holiday cottage providing the following accommodation and facilities:
Master (family) bedroom in the front of the property with a large comfortable double bed and single bed.
Cosy single bedroom which has a comfortable single bed.
Twin bedroom at the rear of the property.
Main bathroom on first floor which has a toilet, sink, bath and shower.
Ground floor living room with leather sofas and chair, LCD flat screen television (with Freesat channels) and DVD player. The Cottage has Freesat television channels.
Adjoining dining room.
Fully fitted contemporary kitchen and shower room at the rear of the ground floor. The kitchen is well appointed with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Separate shower room on the ground floor.
Outside: The garden has a private patio and secure lockable outbuilding. Off road car parking is available for one vehicle. There is additional space for cars on the quiet adjoining side road.
Additional information: Abergwynfi Cottage can be rented for short or long term holiday breaks throughout the year. Rental prices are for the whole Cottage and include fuel bills, bedlinen, towels and Wi-fi. The cottage has central heating, making it ideal all year round. Tea towels, dish clothes, washing up liquid etc are all provided, along with a welcome pack.
