Owl Barn is a self catering cottage which sits behind the Mansion House hotel. Located in the heart of Holbeach, guests are able to enjoy the privacy and space that self-catering accommodation offers whilst benefiting from the convenient location and facilities of the hotel and town.

Facilities available include: Breakfast room, restaurant, bar, television lounge, table tennis and covered beer garden.

The hotel has its own bistro which serves very good food and the town offers a good selection of places to eat and shops to stock up on essentials. The cottage is within a forty minute drive of the beaches – on the North Norfolk Coast.

Owl barn is also in an area well supplied with golf courses as well as carp and course fishing lakes which are very accessible to everyone including children by way of a day’s fishing permit available from a tackle shop in the town.

Holbeach is a thriving Fenland market town within South Lincolnshire with fine architecture and much history. It is a good central base for people who want to explore the local area or have business in the nearby centres of Spalding, Kings Lynn, Boston or Peterborough - all just a twenty minute drive. These towns offer a variety of cinemas, indoor play areas, ten pin bowling and ice skating.

Whether you are visiting the Lincolnshire Fens on business or pleasure, there are plenty of things to do and see for all ages and energy levels including: The Baytree Owl Centre at Weston where there is also the Baytree Garden Centre and Flower Bulb Museum; the Butterfly and Wildlife Park at Spalding with its tropical paradise, reptile house and majestic birds of prey flying displays; RSPB sanctuary at Freiston Shore - a great day out for birdwatchers or enjoy some retail therapy at the Springfields Outlet Centre (Spalding). There are also plenty of local farmers markets in nearby towns where you can stock up on local produce.

If you are an antique lover then visit Long Sutton and Sutton Bridge area and if history and heritage is your passion, then there are a number of attractions that will be of interest including The Pinchbeck Engine - a working drainage engine used to create the landscape of the Fens; The Gordon Boswell Romany Museum in Spalding - where you can see original Romany caravans and experience the way of life; and the South Lincolnshire Military Museum - housing military memorabilia.
