The Hollies is a spacious late Georgian holiday home located in a central village location, providing character, unspoilt and comfortable holiday accommodation for up to ten guests.
It is very well located in the village of South Kilworth in the southern part of Leicestershire. The cottage has a walled courtyard garden and is perfect for families, couples or house parties.
The village is situated within rolling Leicestershire countryside with the village pub next door to the cottage which serves food - not far to wander home after an evening meal and some local ale! There are some lovely walks and bridle-ways from the village which is an excellent equestrian area where horse hire can be arranged (as can stabling and livery). The Kilworth Springs Golf course is also located in the village and is within walking distance of the The Hollies as is an excellent butcher.
There are many lovely villages to visit in Warwickshire/Leicestershire/Northamptonshire – all within cycling distance and this area has excellent communication links - just three miles from the M6/M1/A14 interchange.
For those who want to venture a little further afield, Birmingham is within driving distance (37 miles), as is Stratford (37 miles), Oxford (60 miles), London (80 miles or 50 minutes by train) and East Anglia via the A14.
The nearby towns of Lutterworth (6 miles), Rugby (11 miles) and the pretty market town of Market Harborough (10 miles) are all worthy of a visit. The Hollies is also close to the top class Kilworth House Hotel with its excellent restaurants and open air theatre and Stanford Hall which hosts many exhibitions, events and concerts.
