Rock Cottage is a pretty traditional stone built 17th Century Lake District cottage which provides cosy and comfortable holiday accommodation where guests have the use of a large twin ended Jacuzzi bath for extra relaxation.
The self catering holiday cottage can sleep up to six guests and is available for both long and short breaks (if free four weeks before arrival date). It retains many original features such as flag floors, beams, exposed stone walls, and the lovely open fires make this the perfect holiday retreat for winter breaks. Rock Cottage also includes a luxury bathroom which offers a walk-in shower and a large twin-ended jacuzzi bath.
Located within the heart of the friendly village of Lindale, Rock Cottage has access to a good range of facilities including two pubs, church, post office and a shop. The village is conveniently located in South Lakeland, and provides easy access to Coniston, Windermere, Kendal and the Edwardian seaside town of Grange-over-Sands.
Due to its hillside location, Lindale offers spectacular views of the Levens Valley and Howgill fells and it is the ideal base for those who enjoy walking, mountain biking or simply relaxing and enjoying the spectacular countryside.

Nestling into a rock face, this renovated semi-detached self catering holiday cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms but can accommodate an extra two guests on a sofa bed in the sitting room.
The romantic master bedroom has a king size four poster bed and the second bedroom has two single beds.
The kitchen is fitted with solid pine units and equipped with all modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and turbo oven.
Traditional elements have been retained to enhance the original charm of this lovely cottage and both the sitting room and kitchen have lovely roaring log fires to relax in front of and watch the flames flicker. There is also a utility room for your convenience which holds a washer/drier.
Additional information: The cottage benefits from its own car parking space, a small cottage garden and full central heating. Prices include linen, towels, gas, electricity and an initial supply of logs.
