Mellfell cottages are six warm, comfy, cosy, well-equipped holiday cottages, full of character, converted from old stone barns in a stunning location at Mellfell House Farm. Positioned one thousand feet up Little Mellfell, high above Ullswater in the North East Corner of the beautiful Lake District National Park, the cottages provide a tranquil retreat.

Mellfell Cottages have their own individual character and style where you will find: four poster double beds; fully equipped pine kitchens with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and electric cooker; comfortable seating, televisions, DVD players and radios; and showers over all baths. Guests also have the shared use of a drying room and laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.
With a choice of six delightful holiday cottages, Mellfell House Farm has holiday accommodation that can accommodate parties of two to eight guests individually with some that allow smokers and three that are dog friendly (your faithful friend even has the use of a dog exercise area and heated dog shower!). Private off-road parking available in a separate gated area. A maximum of two dogs are allowed in the dog friendly cottages strictly by prior arrangement at an additional charge of £10 per dog, per week or part week.
