We have been staying at Fellside for over 10 years and we cannot wait to get back there after our holiday is over. Fellside Lodge is cosy and homely and provides all we need for our stay. We always receive a friendly welcome and any problems we have had (and they have been very few) are always dealt with courteously and quickly. We recommend it very highly. Mrs Underwood
A comfortable well equipped cottage with wonderful views. It was great to be able to join the Catbells path just behind the cottage for an early morning walk with the dog. Birds and red squirrels in abundance. We even had a tawny owl perched on a branch staring at us as we drove down the drive. In all a fantastic place to stay. Valerie
The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable - very homely and cosy with very friendly service when and if required. It is in the most idyllic spot, backing onto Catbells and having a lovely vantage point looking over Derwentwater to the fells. Scenic drive to Keswick for supplies. Liked the kitchen linked to sitting room best and particularly comfy double bed. Mr Porter
The location of the cottage is absolutely stunning, overlooking Derwentwater with Catbells right behind. There's a patio area with table and chairs from which to admire both the garden and the lake (if you get the weather, which we did for the whole week).
The cottage itself was spotlessly clean with plenty of room for a family. The kitchen seated 12 of us. I don't think it was intended for 12 but who minds a bit of squashing together when you're having a great holiday.
Joanne is a lovely welcoming host and we definitely hope to return soon. C Dexter
