“Emily’s Escape” is a lovely traditional detached self catering holiday cottage which is idyllically situated at the end of a quiet no-through road within the charming village of Braithwaite.

The village can be found nestling at the bottom of the Whinlatter pass and the entrance to Coledale. It is only two miles from the vibrant market town of Keswick which offers many attractions and both indoor and outdoor activities. Here you can take a boat trip around lake Derwentwater.

The holiday cottage is spacious and offers comfortable accommodation whilst retaining many original features. It has a front small enclosed garden area and a large lawned enclosed garden at the rear with garden furniture and a patio. The rear also enjoys superb views of Coledale fells and the Skiddaw mountain range.

“Emily’s Escape” is perfectly situated with lovely forest and fell walks from the very doorstep along with Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite lakes close by. The village shop is at the end of the lane and there are two traditional Lakeland pubs offering excellent food and real ales within a two minute walk.
