Bank End Lodge sleeps up to ten guests in five bedrooms and is a semi-detached barn converted to a high standard, with character beams and superb views to Kirkby-Fells. It has been awarded 4 Star Gold by Visit Britain and is positioned amongst beautiful unspoilt countryside and has a large enclosed garden with lovely views across the Duddon Valley and beyond to Kirkby Fells. Guests also have the use of a hot tub (extra charge applies).
Located in Grizebeck, between the market town of Broughton and Lowick, Bank End Lodge is a few miles from the quiet unspoilt Duddon Valley, with plenty of activities on the doorstep to keep the family amused. Grizebeck itself is a small, farming community with a village pub within walking distance of the cottage.
The small market town of Broughton is just three miles away and is a delight to visit with its selection of tea shops, renowned delicatessen and village square with quaint cottages.
Bank End Lodge is ideally located for exploring the Lake District and its many attractions and is just six miles from the southern end of Lake Coniston. It is a fifteen minute drive to Lake Windemere and within a twenty minute drive from South Lakes Animal Park, Wildlife Park at Dalton, Muncaster Castle, Steam boats, Lakes Aquarium and Holker Hall, making this an excellent base from which to tour the Lakes and South Cumbria.
There are also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including: Go Ape at Grizedale; Sailing and watersports at Coniston and Windermere; fishing; cycling; walking and horse riding.

Dining kitchen with range electric cooker, American style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, large table seating ten guests.
Upper Floor
Master bedroom with King size bed, fitted wardrobes, character beam and teleivision/DVD.
Twin with television/DVD player.
Twin with zip link beds to make super king upon request.
Bathroom with basin, WC and shower over bath.
Shower room with basin and WC.
Lower ground floor
Master with king size bed, television/DVD, sofa and views to the fells.
Double bedroom with beams.
Utility room with washer and dryer.
Shower room with double shower, basin and WC.
Door leading to enclosed garden with patio and bespoke slate seating and table, views to the fells.
Additional Information: There is a hot tub for guests enjoyment (£100 per booking applies should you wish to use it). Private car park for five cars. Electric storage heaters and panel heaters. All electric, bed linen (except cot) and towels included. Two travel cots, two Highchairs (at cost) and stairgate available. Pets accepted (not to be left unattended).
