Bank End Cottage sleeps up to five guests and is a detached stone barn conversion that is positioned amongst beautiful unspoilt countryside. It has a large enclosed garden and lovely views across the Duddon Valley and beyond to Kirkby Fells.

Located in Grizebeck, between the market town of Broughton and Lowick, Bank End Cottage is a few miles from the quiet unspoilt Duddon Valley, with plenty of activities on the doorstep to keep the family amused. Grizebeck itself is a small, farming community with a village pub within walking distance of the cottage.

The small market town of Broughton is just three miles away and is a delight to visit with its selection of tea shops, renowned delicatessen and village square with quaint cottages.

Bank End Cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District and its many attractions and is just six miles from the southern end of Lake Coniston. It is a fifteen minute drive to Lake Windemere and within a twenty minute drive from South Lakes Animal Park, Wildlife Park at Dalton, Muncaster Castle, Steam boats, Lakes Aquarium and Holker Hall, making this an excellent base from which to tour the Lakes and South Cumbria.

There are also plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including: Go Ape at Grizedale; Sailing and watersports at Coniston and Windermere; fishing; cycling; walking and horse riding.
