Badgers Walk is located at the foot of the Langdale valley in a completely secluded position overlooking a small tarn, where walking is at its very best.

The spectacular scenery in this breathtaking setting has to be seen to be believed and this small two-person retreat is an ideal place to escape and get away from all the pressures of everyday life.

This contemporary ground floor holiday cottage provides everything you need to have a relaxing and comfortable holiday. It is one of a number of apartments and log cabins that are scattered amongst the tall trees, and benefit from the full free use of an on-site small leisure complex complete with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and games room (open between March and November, inclusive) - what could be nicer than relaxing in the Jacuzzi after an exciting day exploring the Lakes!

The complex also houses a small shop and laundry facilities and for those requiring larger leisure facilities a free pass is provided enabling the use of facilities at the Low Wood Hotel, Ambleside.

The Lake District is renowned for its pure natural beauty and fantastic variety of outdoor activities. It provides a plethora of excellent visitor attractions, events and festivals to suit all ages and tastes. Step back in time at one of the interesting museums or South Lakeland's historic house, relax on a lake cruise or steam railway or discover the lives of famous literary characters such as John Ruskin, William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter whose homes you can visit.
