Oakbank Cottage is located within the beautiful Duddon Valley within The Lake District and provides stylish, five star, spacious holiday accommodation that is ideal for families or friends who want to holiday together.
It is an easy drive to Lakeland's favourite attractions, along with the wonderful sandy beaches at Silecroft and St Bees which are just a thirty to forty minute drive.
The attractive little town of Broughton-in-Furness is only ten minutes away and provides two great food shops where you can stock up on local produce. There is also an old post office and store within walking distance of the cottage and the local area offers several old inns which serve excellent meals and local ale.
There is plenty to keep the whole family occupied within the area, including a whole host of outdoor activities to enjoy from golf to canoeing. There are also many attractions to suit all ages for example visiting an owl sanctuary or taking a ride on a steam train.
At Oakbank Cottage you are in the heart of the mountains with wonderful walks from the front door. It is a great place to come home to after a day exploring the area by foot where you can relax in the oak-beamed sitting room and enjoy a roaring log fire whilst watching Sky television or a good film on DVD.

Beautiful, large kitchen which is open plan with breakfast/dining area opening onto patio. Facilities include: cooker, hob, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc.
Large sitting room with seating for nine guests, log-burning stove, television with full Sky package, DVD player, games and books.
Outside: There is a private, walled garden around the property, with lawns and a patio to the front with garden furniture for nine, and a gravelled area with rotary washing line and shed behind.
Additional information: Bedlinen and towels are provided and the property is given a comprehensive clean after each let. Prices are all-inclusive of bedlinen, towels, heating and electricity, along with the use of a phone, Sky TV package, cot and high chair. Dogs are welcome at no additional charge. Logs are available to buy on request. Short breaks are a three-night minimum booking.
