Overlooking a beautiful old church, all rooms enjoy fabulous rooftop views towards the famous mountains. Church View is in an ideal position, tucked away in a gently elevated setting just above the center of this picturesque village, yet just a short stroll from a wealth of excellent restaurants, local shops and pubs.
Walks are in abundance straight from the front door of this holiday cottage and after a hard day exploring the beautiful fells, it makes a delightful place to return to. With its lovely open fire, it is ideal at any time of the year!
The Lake District is well known for its natural beauty and wide variety of outdoor activities. It offers a wealth of superb visitor attractions, festivals and events for everyone to enjoy. Step back in time at one of South lakeland's historic house or interesting museums, relax on a steam railway or lake cruise or follow in the footsteps of great literary characters like William Wordsworth, John Ruskin and Beatrix Potter who all lived in the South lakes and whose homes you can visit.
Whatever you enjoy doing on holiday, the Lake District has something to suit everyone's needs.

Entrance hall with curved staircase, which leads to the first floor and this is where you first catch sight of the view.
Delightful reading room area on the first floor with those wonderful views!
Cosy yet bright lounge/dining room with picture windows dressed with a window seat and the deep cushioned furnishings are perfect for relaxation on a cosy night in, in front of the open fire.
Beautiful kitchen which is excellently equipped with a breakfast bar facility dividing the room to the open plan lounge.
Bathroom which is a haven of indulgence, with a deep double ended bath, power shower and mood lighting enhancing the beauty of the polished glass tiling, glass wash basin and pebbled floor - the perfect place for relaxing after an exciting day exploring the Lakes.
Bedroom which also enjoys the view.
Additional information: Gas central heating and double glazing. Central village location. Parking permit for nearby car park. Unfortunately no pets or no smoking. Prices include services and linen. There is a sky box with freeview channels. Guests are provided with a free pass for using local leisure facilities.
