Airedale Cottage is conveniently located in the Popular Lakeland town of Windermere and just a ten minute walk to Lake Windermere shore and a good selection of pubs, shops, restaurants and the Railway station.
This holiday home is located within the stunning Lake District National Park and offers spacious modern accommodation for up to four guests in two bedrooms. It is located in a private location, yet benefits from being just a short walk from the lovely town with all its amenities and the lake shore with a woodland walk.
Airedale Cottage has been tastefully decorated and comprehensively equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. It is normally let on a weekly basis but some short winter breaks may be available - please enquire with the owner. It is the perfect base from which to explore the attractive towns of Windermere and Bowness on Windermere, along with the mountains, stunning scenery and numerous attractions that this wonderful area has to offer.
Windermere takes its name from England’s largest and arguably prettiest lake, which lies around a mile from the town centre. The lake offers a wide range of sporting and leisure activities, including sailing and steamer excursions. There are many spectacular walks starting from Windermere amongst breathtaking scenery. Both Windermere and its neighbour Bowness on Windermere offer a good selection of attractions including the Beatrix Potter Experience, public swimming pool, the Lake Steamers, golf course, theatre, cinema, off-road driving experience and ferry trips across the lake.

Airedale Cottage is maintained by the owner and tastefully decorated to provide modern and well equipped holiday accommodation.
Accommodation comprises:
Comfortable lounge/dining area, equipped with television, DVD, video and radio/CD player.
Dining area with an extendable dining table and patio doors opening out to the rear garden.
Separate fitted fully equipped kitchen with electric fan oven and microwave, dishwasher, gas hob, washing machine and fridge.
Master bedroom with a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with electric shower, wash basin and WC.
Patio doors leading on to a sun patio to the side of the house.
Second bedroom with twin pine beds and built-in wardrobes with ample storage.
Family bathroom with a bath, washbasin and WC.
Additional information: To the rear of the house is an enclosed garden with patio. Garden furniture is available. At the front of the house there is off-road parking for one car and secure garage parking for a further car or bike storage (a tumble dryer is also located within the garage). It is only a very short walk from the house to the main bus route for those venturing further afield without a car.
