Franklin Cottage is a delightful holiday cottage which is located in a quiet street just off Harbour Street.  It is less than a five minute walk to the beach, historic harbour, fish market and good selection of pubs and restaurants.  The cottage sleeps 2-6 guests and offers spacious and comfortable accommodation that benefits from its own south facing garden to relax in.  It has been furnished to a high standard of comfort and style to ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Whitstable is a charming unspoilt seaside town in Kent which is famous for its sunsets, oysters and beach life. There are plenty of pubs and a wide selection of restaurants in the town including good seafood restaurants.  There are also a number of interesting shops and Whitstable also has a renown fish market located on the South Quay of the harbour amidst the fishing boats and lobster pots.  It offers an excellent variety of seafood and fish and you can pick yourself up some wonderful delights such as Whitstable oysters, lobster and freshly caught crab for that extra special BBQ or evening meal back at the cottage.

There are plenty of activities to enjoy locally such as swimming, windsurfing, sailing and a number of wonderful walks.

Being only sixty miles from London (1 hour 15 minutes from London Victoria by train) and seven miles from the cathedral city of Canterbury by car or national cycle route on the Crab and Winkle way, this makes an ideal destination for a holiday or short break.
