Keepers Cottage is an exclusive luxury holiday cottage located a mile east of the conservation village of Fortingall within Highland Perthshire.  The cottage has been exquisitely designed to provide a luxury holiday retreat for couples who want to relax in truly sumptuous surroundings. It provides the ultimate in luxury and comfort for a romantic short break or a longer holiday and offers facilities of an exceptionally high standard whilst retaining a cosy country cottage feel. 

The cottage sits in its own pretty walled garden and has a private south facing terrace with table and chairs, barbecue and a hot tub where you can relax with a glass of wine and watch the stars.  The garden is sown with wildflowers to encourage wildlife and there is also a door which leads to a woodland walk by the side of the River Lyon - ideal for a romantic stroll of an evening!

Why not pamper yourself with a sauna in the luxurious bathroom and then relax in the emperor bed or curl up in front of a lovely roaring log fire on the comfortable sofa.f

The owner has paid incredible attention to detail to ensure your every need is catered for with an IPod cradle in the bedroom (which also links to the bathroom) and surround sound music in the living room, enabling you to create the perfect atmosphere. For those who want to keep in touch with the outside world or have to work, there is a study with sofa, work desk and wi-fi internet access and if you enjoy cooking, the fully equipped kitchen provides the perfect place for sampling some of the fine local produce.

Positioned at the entrance to Glen Lyon which is the longest enclosed glen in Scotland, Keepers Cottage is within walking distance of five Munros. On Loch Tay you can enjoy water sports or if feeling adventurous try white water rafting on the River Tay.  There are also several golf courses nearby.

Scotland is steeped in history and there are numerous places of interest and castles to visit.  Keepers central location within the heart of Scotland makes it within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh and the West Coast. The village of Fortingall is located one mile away from the cottage and can be reached by taking lovely stroll along the River Lyon.  Here you can enjoy a pleasant meal at the Fortingall Hotel.
