Corrachbeag Cottage - Self catering holiday cottage in Loch Inchard, Kinlochbervie, Highland, Scotland - Sleeps 4

Corrachbeag Cottage

Corrachbeag Cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms and is in an enviable position right on the edge of Loch Inchard, near to Kinlochbervie. Superbly located, the cottage allows you to enjoy exceptional uninterrupted panoramic views over the loch and the magnificent mountains of North Western Sutherland.

Located down below the road, Corrachbeag is in a private position and is not over looked, offering complete privacy for a peaceful family holiday or relaxing discreet retreat for two. However, whilst being very secluded, there is a shop in nearby Kinlockbervie (less than a quarter of a mile away) and a restaurant and hotel close by.

Kinlochbervie is the most north westerly fishing port in the UK which sits in the unspoilt, wild stunning scenery of Cape Wrath. With an exciting coastline and abundant wildlife, it is one of the most beautiful parts of Sutherland. Kinlochbervie has a long standing reputation for being a vibrant bustling fishing port, with the heart of the village centred around the harbour. Steeped in history and legends, there is hardly a loch, hill or bay in the area which does not boast its own ghost, such as haunted Sandwood Bay.

The area offers plenty of exciting things to do starting with a visit to the beautiful Oldshoremore beach and Sandwood bay - two of the most unspoilt beautiful beaches in Scotland. Alternatively, head inland for some fantastic walks or more challenging hikes where you can take in the vast array of wildlife and totally unique scenery. If you are seeking adventure, try sea kayaking at Ridgeway Adventure where you may be lucky enough to see dolphins and whales off the coast, seals basking in the sun or sea otters in Loch Inchard.

Visit nearby Handa Island Reserve with over two hundred thousand visiting seabirds in the summer or enjoy a leisurely game of golf on the most north westerly nine hole course in mainland Scotland. Superb trout and salmon fishing is also available in the area and there are a wealth of lovely places to eat and drink locally.

Please visit the owners website for further details on the cottage and online booking.
