Kirkton Farm Cottage is in an enviable position overlooking Udale bay, on a working farm in the rural area of Resolis, in the Black Isle.
The Black Isle is not actually an island but a Peninsula within the Scottish Highlands. It is a beautiful area with several scenic villages (including Avoch and Rosemarkie) and also an attractive town, Cromarty, with its Georgian houses and old fishermen's cottages. The Black Isle is a nature lovers paradise with its dolphin and seal sanctuary and RSPB observation area for red kites. It also has many prehistoric sites for the historians amongst you.
This traditional farm cottage can accommodate two to four guests (with the use of a sofa bed in the lounge) and is comfortable, well equipped and fully modernised to a high standard.
With its own private garden, the cottage affords fabulous views out over the RSPB sanctuary of Udale bay and the Cromarty firth, well known for being one of the best bottlenose dolphin spotting places in Europe.
This is the perfect place to relax and unwind where you can enjoy many beautiful woodland and shoreline walks and catch the odd glimpse of local wildlife.
Here you can enjoy peace and tranquillity, whilst being only thirty minutes away from Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands.
