A former farm, The Burnett Farmhouse today offers three charming holiday cottages positioned amongst South Herefordshire's tranquil rolling countryside. The cottages are ideal for couples and families and sleep 2 to 4 guests individually. They each afford far reaching views across the peaceful valley of Orcop, towards Garway Hill beyond.
Located in a peaceful farmland position, away from any main roads, these comfortable converted barn and farm buildings offer a great base from which to explore the areas of the Wye Valley, the Malvern Hills, the Brecon Beacons and the Forest of Dean.
Within easy reach and just a 20 minute drive of the holiday cottages is Hereford, the M50 motorway and Ross-on-Wye, making the cottages a good central location for exploring Hay-on-Wye, Cheltenham, Abergavenny, Symonds Yat, Malvern, Monmouth, Chepstow, Cardiff, Worcester and Wales. There area offers a wide range of places to visit including the Tintern Abbey, the Black and White villages, the castles of The Marches, gardens, Offa's Dyke path, antique shops and so much more.

Bird Watching - you can see Buzzards soaring above from the Granary in the fields below the cottages.

The holiday cottages have all been restored sympathetically with character features such as oak beams. They have contemporary style furniture and offer comfortable holiday accommodation in an exceptionally beautiful location.
The Barn is perfect for couples, offering the following accommodation:
Open plan living/dining area with double aspect windows, oak beams, electric fire, television (with Freeview) and DVD player. There is a single chair and also a comfortable Leather sofa/pull out bed making the cottage more romantic, as it allows you to cuddle up together!
Kitchenette which is fully equipped with full cooker, fridge, microwave and washer/drier.
First floor lovely double bedroom with separate bathroom. There is space for a cot.
Outside: Guests have the exclusive use of a garden area that is set aside, with patio, tables with chairs and barbecue, along with wonderful views which are best enjoyed with a glass of wine or barbeque. There is also a games room that guests may use that is located within the courtyard, with a 6ft pool table/table tennis table, selection of board games and videos.
Additional information: Unfortunately, no pets. Price includes linen, towels, central heating and electricity. Short breaks available. Strictly no smokers. Ample off road parking. Bikes can be rented and delivered to the cottages - there is safe bike storage available.
The owners have been awarded Silver standard under the Green Tourism Scheme, scoring the highest of any business, in the assessment within Hereford.
