Sitting on its own behind the main building, The Bakehouse was built in the Victorian era to bake the bread for the village. The bread was sold from the shop that is now the front room of Arboyne House. The old oven is a feature in what is now the living room of the Bakehouse.
Upstairs, in the place that was the storeroom for sacks of flour, are the kitchen and ensuite bedroom. It is not the oven that heats the building now but a lovely log fire and central heating, making this an ideal holiday retreat at any time of the year.
