Stornoway Holiday Cottage is newly available to the holiday rental market and is located at 24 New Street, just a five minute's walk from the very heart of Stornoway, the bustling fishing capital of the Western Isles. Accommodating up to eight guests in four bedrooms, the holiday cottage offers visitors an ideal base from which to explore the scenic beauty and historical sites that the Islands have to offer.

The holiday cottage is traditionally built and has been recently modernised to a high standard to provide all the amenities and comforts you should need for a relaxing holiday. It boasts many fine features including free Wi-Fi access, spacious sitting room with all around sound and a contemporary upstairs bath/shower room where you will find a large free standing bath taking pride of place - the perfect place to unwind after an exciting day exploring the area.

Many Islands form the Western Isles with the main ones being Harris, Lewis, The Uists and Barra with a few smaller ones thrown in for good measure (Benbecula, Bernera, Vatersay and Eriskay to name a few). The largest of the Scottish Hebridean islands is the Isle of Lewis which offers everything from culture to relaxation. There are plenty of things to keep all ages amused including children with a vast amount of unspoilt beautiful sandy beaches which are often empty, making the Islands not just a beautiful place to stay but also an intriguing playground. Located in the gulf stream ensures that the waters are often warmer than other parts of the UK.

Within a five minute walk from the cottage you have the Lews Castle with its beautiful grounds - a lovely place for a walk where you can also stop for refreshments at Woodlands Café within the castle grounds. There is also an 18 hole golf course in the grounds.
