A charming Victorian two bedroom holiday home sleeping four, which is available for either short or long stays. Harcourt House is located within the Historic Coastal City of Portsmouth, and perfectly situated for exploring Portsmouth itself and its many attractions, along with the surrounding areas.
The county of Hampshire offers unspoilt countryside, vibrant market towns, stunning coastlines, historic cities and some of England’s most picturesque villages. Its lovely countryside offers plenty of opportunity to walk or cycle with numerous footpaths, Rights of Way and long distance paths taking you through beautiful scenery.
Portsmouth, which is steeped in history, is fast becoming Britain's most popular waterfront destination with miles of sea views and plenty of things to do for both children and adults. It is home to the Royal Navy dockyard and its historic ships (Henry VIII's Mary Rose, HMS Warrior and Nelson's flagship Victory) and the submarine museum; it is the birth place of authors H G Wells and Charles Dickens and it also offers numerous attractions including the Spinnaker Tower (the tallest building outside London with three hundred and sixty degree views) and the Gunwharf Quays complex offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and cinemas.
For those who want to travel a little further a field and explore the area: visit the Isle of Wight (ten minutes by hovercraft); the New Forest (only half an hour by car); Marwell Zoo; take a day trip to France from the nearby ferry port or visit the cities of Chichester, Winchester and Brighton.

Harcourt House is equipped and furnished to a high standard of comfort and style whilst retaining some original features such as polished floorboards.

South facing lounge with lovely log burning stove (ideal for those chilly winter nights), two double sofas, Satellite TV, DVD player and CD player.
Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Dining room with table and six chairs and French doors leading out onto a sunny sheltered garden with patio furniture and barbecue.

Additional information: Flexible changeover day; short breaks available; discount on longer term lets; the stairs are fairly steep so may not be suitable for the elderly, very young or people with limited mobility; linen, towels and logs are provided within the price.
