The Old Barn provides four star quality holiday accommodation which is located on a small family run farm in the lovely area of East Neuk in Fife. This holiday cottage is situated in a wonderful rural position with beautiful views across the Firth of Forth towards Edinburgh and North Berwick.
This is a fabulous place to get away from it all and truly relax and is ideally situated for visiting the many tourist attractions that this area has to offer.
The local area offers a huge range of outdoor activities including off road quad biking, sailing trips to the Isle of May, water sports, horse riding, local sky-diving, cycleways and the Fife Coastal Path which is great for walkers. The area also has over forty golf courses all within an hour's drive and St Andrews is only a ten minute drive.
There are plenty of places to visit including the Scottish Deer Centre, St Andrews, fishing villages, museums, Kellie Castle and you will have the chance to enjoy the beautiful unspoilt blue flag beaches which the area is famous for.
For those who want to escape cooking whilst on holiday, you can choose from a wide variety of excellent places to eat from acclaimed restaurants to bars and cafes, all within a short drive and many located either within the local countryside or around the coastal villages.

The Old Barn is part of an old steading and has been completely rebuilt with traditional slate roof, the original whin stone and finished internally in beautiful oak.
Accommodation comprises:
Entrance into the ground floor with front door porch which is a good place to store shoes and jackets. This leads into....
Hallway with storage cupboard.
Spacious sitting room with a large bay window looking south over the Forth and a leather six piece suite of which the two-seater opens up to become a sofa bed accommodating an additional two extra adults. This room also has an electric fire and a widescreen digital television.
Well appointed bathroom with a power shower.
Kitchen built with oak units and equipped with integral dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Small utility room off the kitchen with sink, storage cupboards, washing machine, tumble drier and ironing board. The house has full double glazing and oil central heating throughout.
Two first floor en-suite bedrooms - one twin and one double room with views over the Firth of Forth and surrounding countryside.
Additional information: The price includes all electricity, heating, linen and towels. Short breaks are available (3 night minimum). There is private parking and a garden area. As the owners live nearby there should always be someone on hand to help with any requests. A cot and high chair are available on request.
