The Lynhurst is an elegant late Victorian country house with great character arranged on four floors. Originally built as a summer retreat in 1890 for the family of a wealthy London banker, the house is totally hidden in almost 3 acres of gardens and natural woodland yet just a whisper away from Lynton and Lynmouth.
Perched some 400 feet above Lynmouth over looking Exmoor National Park, The Lynhurst exudes wide open space and tranquillity. Enjoy the large garden with barbeque area and relax on the terrace or in the beautiful conservatory both taking in the panoramic sea views.
It is a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and solitude, although secluded, it is only a short stroll to all the area's attractions such as the Valley of the Rocks', the beautiful waterfalls of Watersmeet and the famous Cliff Railway which takes you to the picturesque harbour of Lynmouth.
