Cowbridge Cottage sleeps up to five guests in three bedrooms and is an idyllic holiday cottage with lovely views, located within the Exmoor National Park in Somerset. The picturesque medieval village of Dunster is just two miles away and has much to offer with its historic 11th century castle, picturesque ford, pack horse bridge, yarn market and working mill. It also provides a good selection of galleries, cafes, hotels, inns, gift shops and character 17th and 19th century properties (many of which are thatched) that line its main street. The beaches at Dunster, Minehead and Blue Anchor are all within easy reach and just a few miles. The coastal town of Minehead, where Exmoor meets the sea, provides a choice of shops, eating establishments and good old fashioned seaside fun, with its promenade and long sandy and pebble beach near the harbour. The Exmoor National Park, where Cowbridge Cottage is located, is renowned for having some of the South West's most breathtaking scenery. It is a haven for wildlife and provides plenty of opportunities for walkers. Other attractions include the West Somerset Steam Railway, the Valley of the Rocks, the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth with its water powered cliff railway, the Brendon Hills, Clarkes Village and the Quantock Hills to name just a few. With such a choice of attractions to enjoy, Cowbridge Cottage is a perfect base from which to explore the area or to simply relax in the garden and take in the lovely views. |
