The pretty hamlet of Bratton sits in the valley below and you can enjoy lovely country walks from the front door, one taking you up the combe and over the moor to the top of North Hill which overlooks the Bristol Channel.
The entire area is perfect for those who enjoy walking and Bratton Crest is also an ideal base from which to explore Exmoor, the medieval village of Dunster with its National Trust castle and unique Yarn Market, the Quantocks, the thatched villages of Selworthy and Bossington and Porlock and Porlock Weir - all within easy reach.
Minehead is also within easy reach and an attractive resort with large sandy beach. From here you can take a twenty mile scenic train journey through the Quantocks and Exmoor countryside - providing a great day out.
