Poppets Cottage is a compact, extremely bright and cheerful holiday home that has been beautifully furnished. It affords views over the garden and has been decorated in a vintage country style which has been accentuated by stripped floorboards, hand painted pieces of country style furniture and pretty fabrics.

Accommodation comprises:

• Sitting room with open fire and a bright spacious feel due to the high vaulted ceiling with a large window. This room offers a flat screen television/DVD with Freeview and comfortable seating, providing a charming environment to relax at any time of the year.
• Cottage style kitchen, complete with Belfast sink and wooden work tops. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and Gas hob, small fridge with ice making compartment, microwave and a washer/drier. The Kitchen window overlooks a small secluded courtyard - a place to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine.
• Pretty bedroom containing a double bed with superior linen and duvet. The sunny bedroom overlooks the garden and gravel driveway and the large window floods the bedroom with light in the daytime. There is a chest of drawers and small free standing hanging wardrobe, along with bedside tables, cushions, floral lamps and blanket.
• Leading off from the sitting room is the bathroom with tiled floor in natural stone and a shower over the bath with a screen. Plenty of towels are provided.

Outside: There is a designated area of lawn where guests can enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down. Alternatively if you require complete privacy there is a small private courtyard. There are two small raised vegetable beds and a greenhouse to the left of the cottage that are accessed by the owners but they are happy for you to help yourself to the produce… if the rabbits haven’t already!

Additional information: Poppets Cottage rates are all inclusive of: lighting; electricity; central heating (Gas); all bed linen and towels; all kitchen essentials such as washing up liquid, washing powder, toilet rolls, tea, coffee and sugar; welcome basket of logs and welcome BBQ coals (summer). Well behaved dogs are welcome but please do not bring them if you think they won’t like the owner's dog, eat their pet rabbit or sleep on beds and sofas. Sorry, Poppets Cottage is a strictly NO smoking. There is a new central heating system which keeps the cottage warm all year round. Wireless internet is also provided.
