Lane End Cottage accommodates up to four guests and is a charming 19^th century country holiday cottage that has been refurbished to a high 4 Star standard. The cottage affords outstanding views over Teesdale, one of the last remaining unspoilt dales in the North of England and is a perfect place for enjoying superb walks amongst spectacular countryside.

Teesdale provides a wonderful mix of activities and culture, including fantastic walks which can be enjoyed from the cottage front door.

Accessed via a private road from the peaceful conservation village of Lartington, Lane End Cottage is just two miles from the historic thriving market town of Barnard Castle with its weekly market, spectacular Bowes Museum, popular antique shops and good selection of pubs and restaurants.

The village of Cotherstone which offers two pubs serving food and a village shop, is one and a half miles away and the countrys highest waterfall (Highforce) is within easy driving distance.

Conveniently located, Lane End Cottage is ideal for visiting a whole host of attractions and is within driving distance to four national parks, including the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Yorkshire Moors. The historic cities of York, Newcastle and Carlisle are all approximately an hour away.
