Rainbow Cottage sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms and is a charming stone, thatched holiday cottage that was built in 1994. Cleverly designed by an award winning builder, it has all the charm of an old cottage, with the benefits of spacious and family friendly accommodation.
The cottage is located in the pretty conservation village of Litton Cheney, which is tucked away deep in the Bride Valley between Dorchester and Bridport. The Bride valley is a remarkably beautiful area which is well known for its coastline, lovely walks and archaeology.
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Little Cheney is just three miles away from the bathing beach at Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage site. The village has a pub which serves excellent food and there is also a secluded children's playground just a minute's walk away from the cottage.
Close to the seaside resorts of Weymouth, Lyme Regis and West Bay, this is an ideal place from which to explore the Dorset coastline, along with the beautiful countryside. Market towns of Dorchester, Yeovil, Bridport and Sherborne are all easily accessible and the area offers plenty of very good pubs, restaurants, historic houses and gardens, along with local food producers and farmer markets.
