5 North Street is a mid 19th century Purbeck stone cottage under a stone tiled roof located in a private lane just off the High Street, a third of a mile from the centre of the village. The village has two pubs that serve food and a post office/small general store.
Langton Matravers is situated in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck approximately two and a half miles from the seaside resort of Swanage, some eight miles from the market town of Wareham and four miles from Corfe Castle. There is a regular bus service to these towns and the bus stop is a short walk from the property. Swanage has a full range of retail outlets and a large supermarket.
Langton Matravers is within a Conservation Area and much of the surrounding countryside is classified as being of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is within walking distance of Dancing Ledge one of the features of the Dorset & East Devon Coast, England’s first natural site to receive World Heritage Site status.

The cottage has been refurbished to a high standard and provides a comfortable, relaxing holiday home. An electric immersion heater heats the water, central heating is provided by night storage heaters.
