This delightful detached 4 Star property is one of just two very individual cottages located on the owner’s friendly farm and offers holiday accommodation for four guests, children of all ages are welcome. For larger parties both cottages can accommodate up to nine guests (see also Keeper’s Cottage). Forester’s is equally ideal for a couple - a discount is offered if only one of the bedrooms and en-suite is used. Pets are also welcome by arrangement and livery for horses.
Forester’s has ground level accommodation. It is beautifully maintained and well equipped to ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday or short break. Digital TV’s and full gas central heating offer a very comfortable environment all year round. Forester’s is open for Christmas and New Year. Seasonal Art Holidays are offered for drawing and painting in the studio on the farm, field trips, demos and workshops.
Surrounded with trees, fields and hedgerows, this lovely area offers a variety of wildlife, excellent country walks, off road cycling and horse riding. Close to the New Forest/East Dorset border, the location offers the best of both worlds. The New Forest market town of Ringwood is just 4 miles east, between and within an easy walk is, Moors Valley Country Park with lakes, tree top trail, cycle hire, steam railway and lots more. The spectacular Cranborne Chase is 4 miles west with some of Dorset’s finest scenery. Just seven miles south, are the beaches of Southbourne, Hengistbury Head and Mudford Sands with nature trails, cliff walks, land-train and water sports.
The coast and countryside offer a wealth of pursuits, events and special sights, as well as a huge variety of bistros, pubs, restaurants, markets, museums, and attractions.

Accommodation is all on ground level and comprises:
Double aspect open plan living area with views to the stables and across the patio to the trees and fields. This is a very comfortably furnished room with navy leather sofas and country pine furniture. There is also a flat screen digital television with Free-serve, DVD, video, CD/cassette player, radio, games, books and children’s videos to provide home entertainment.
Well equipped kitchen including a microwave, refrigerator/icebox and washer/dryer.
Bedroom one with vaulted timber ceiling, country pine furnishings and a king-size double bed and digital television with Free-serve.
Door leading to en-suite, which has a step-in shower, hand-basin and toilet.
Bedroom two has one low beam after which, this pretty country bedroom has a vaulted timber ceiling, pine furnishings and comfortable twin beds. There is a digital television with Freeserve and the en-suite has a step-in shower, hand basin and toilet. Beds are freshly made for your arrival using good quality linen, seasonally weighted duvets and pretty floral spreads.
Outside: This is a detached cob cottage with fenced and gated patio, bedecked with flowers and herbs. With exterior furnishings and a BBQ it is an ideal place to dine "alfresco". A second entrance gate allows access for a large pram or mobility equipment.
Additional information: Gas, electricity, linen, towels and hand-soap are all included plus fresh farm eggs for a hearty English Breakfast. Year round special offers. Infant equipment is provided including a large travel cot for use with your own nursery bedding, baby bath and a highchair.
