Jasmine cottage is a delightful semi detached holiday cottage with plenty of character and furnished to a high standard. It is perfect for couples or a small family and is located in a small friendly village on the borders of Hampshire and Dorset ideally situated to take advantage of the many interesting places nearby.
The village of Walkford has two friendly pubs which serve excellent meals and a few shops within walking distance of the cottage. Only one and a half miles away is the small town of Highcliffe and its beach giving fantastic coastal views to the Isle of Wight and Hengistbury Head.
The beautiful New Forest National Park with its native ponies, walks, cycling, horse riding, nature watching is just two miles. There are also local walks from the cottage over farmland and commons.
The surrounding area has so much to offer and all only a short drive away. The historic town of Christchurch is four miles away and has an 11th Century Priory standing just behind the quay. Three miles brings you to Mudeford with its lovely beach, café and beach shop where fishing trips are available from the quay. Hengistbury Head is five miles away and has beautiful walks with views over the headland to a sandy beach with beach huts and café. Barton on sea has a superb golf course overlooking the sea and is just two miles.
Brockenhurst is a small village with a few shops, a popular centre for exploring the varied scenery of the forest and heathland. The attractive village of Lyndhurst with its narrow streets, Victorian/Edwardian architecture and interesting shops is within ten miles and a bit further away is the unspoilt village of Beaulieu, and the home of Lord Montague of Beaulieu who founded his famous motor museum and nearby are the beautiful Exbury gardens.
Lymington is an attractive Georgian market town which sits beside its sheltered harbour and marina and is a popular yachting centre. From here ferries cross regularly to the Isle of Wight. Bournemouth and Poole are ten to fifteen miles away if you like busier towns with more shops.

Accommodation comprises:
Large comfortable lounge with sofa bed, dining table/chairs, open fireplace, large screen plasma television, DVD and CD player. Double doors to conservatory over looking garden.
Fully equipped spacious modern Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, eye level oven/grill, Gas hob, and fridge/freezer. There is also a breakfast area with table and chairs and door to conservatory with seating.
Upstairs there is a large double bedroom with king-size bed, fitted wardrobe, dressing table and television (room for a travel cot if you wanted to bring one and there is an additional fold up occasional bed should you wish to use it).
Second bedroom with two single beds, fitted wardrobe and dressing table.
Bathroom with bath, power shower, basin and WC.
Outside: Fully enclosed front garden/drive with ample parking for two cars. Large attractive, fully enclosed, south facing rear garden with conservatory, patio area, wooden table/chairs and BBQ provided, large lawn with flower beds.
Additional information: The cottage has central heating and an open fire for the winter months. All bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the price. There is also internet/broadband connection. Telephone-incoming and local calls only. One well behaved dog is allowed with its own bed but not allowed on beds or furniture (there is an extra cost of £20.00 a week). No Smoking in the cottage. If more than four people, an additional charge of £50 per person is required. High chair available.
