About Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage has been a family-run holiday home for the past eleven years. Sleeping six guests (plus one), this fabulous retreat offers luxury self-catering accommodation in a beautifully converted 18th-century barn near Kingsbridge in the South Hams area of South Devon with its stunning award-winning beaches. Ideally situated between Salcombe and Dartmouth and within easy reach of popular beaches at Slapton Sands, Blackpool Sands, and East Portlemouth/Mill Bay, Kingfisher Cottage is a perfect self-catering base for exploring the area and its many attractions.

Overlooking a naturally spring-fed pond that is home to ducks, Kingfisher Cottage nestles amongst beautiful gardens. It is surrounded by fields and the stunning South Hams countryside, which is also an Area of Outstanding natural beauty.

The South Hams boasts over sixty miles of stunning coastline, beautiful sandy beaches, tranquil countryside, river estuaries, bustling market towns and peaceful villages. With so much to do on the doorstep, it is easy to find something for everyone here, no matter what time of year you visit.

Kingfisher is just ten minutes by car from the beach and a short drive to a number of excellent local pubs serving South Devon’s local produce.

We now have 200 meg high-speed broadband, which offers the scope for remote working, streaming Netflix or iPlayer, or keeping families on holiday happy who have many devices.
