The Old Stables Holiday Cottage is situated in a quiet secluded part of the village in a leafy woodland setting, yet only five minutes from the heart of the village of Stoke Fleming with its Blue Flag beach. The holiday cottage can accommodate 2 adults and 2 young children or alternatively 3 adults.

Stoke Fleming is a pretty coastal village with a Blue Flag beach, church, post office/shop offering a wide range of fresh local produce; a pub with an excellent menu (child friendly) and a fish restaurant where you can sample local caught lobsters and fish (during summer months only). The beach (Blackpool Sands) is within walking distance and under a mile away and has a very good café serving freshly cooked organic food.

At the mouth of the picturesque River Dart is the vibrant town of Dartmouth which is only three miles from the cottage. This unique town is the jewel of the beautiful South Hams and has a cobbled market place and ancient narrow streets housing art galleries, boutique shops, delicatessens, restaurants and pubs.

The market towns of Totnes and Kingsbridge are too within easy reach where you can take a boat trip to Agatha Christie's family home, Greenways. A little further away (1 1/2 hours drive) is The Eden project.
