Courtmoor Farm holiday cottages are positioned within seventeen acres of rolling East Devon countryside within the beautiful Blackdown Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are two comfortable holiday cottages that accommodate parties of two to four and four to five individually, both affording breathtaking views over the Otter Valley.
The self-catering cottages provide a perfect base for families and couples wanting a relaxing retreat where they can get away from it all, whilst being within easy reach of plenty of attractions and activities.
Guests staying at Courtmoor Farm benefit from the free use of the onsite gym and sauna, along with the coarse fishing pond and children’s play area. There are woodland walks with a nature trail for younger guests and an abundance of wildlife to see.
The village of Upottery is a five minute drive which has a Church and a country pub, the Sidmouth Arms, serving good home-cooked fare and local beer. There is also a new children’s play area in the village.
The historic market town of Honiton, famous for its lace making museum and antique shops, is just a ten minute drive from the cottages. The Dorset beaches of Charmouth and Lyme Regis (part of the Jurassic Coast) are within easy reach and the East Devon beaches of Exmouth and Sidmouth are also nearby. Taunton, the county town of Somerset, with the Somerset County Cricket Ground is just a twenty minute drive and the Cathedral city of Exeter with its new Princesshay shopping centre is twenty-five minutes’ drive.
Dartmoor and Exmoor are easily accessible making this not only a great location for relaxing, cycling and walking but also an ideal base for exploring the many attractions that Dorset, Somerset and Devon have to offer.

Approached by a private drive, Courtmoor Farm Holiday Cottages offer an oasis of peace and tranquillity with panoramic views of the Otter Valley. There is plenty of parking and covered storage is available for bikes and surf boards.
Both cottages offer accommodation of a four star standard whilst retaining the character of the original stone buildings.
Upon arrival, there will be someone to greet you and a traditional Devon cream tea or homemade cake will be provided for you to enjoy whilst unpacking and settling in. The owners are also on hand and happy to help with any local information or alternatively, you may prefer to discover Devon yourself.
Sunrise Cottage is a charming and comfortable single storey cottage with en suite bathroom. It is positioned away from the main courtyard and has its own private garden and parking area, making it ideal for those wanting a complete break from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Accommodation comprises:
Open plan lounge and kitchen area with a settee in the lounge which converts to a 4 ft double bed.
Bedroom with a 6 ft double bed which can also be made up as two singles.
En suite bathroom with toilet, wash basin and bath with shower over.
Facilities available include: Free Wi-Fi access; FreeSat television with DVD; electric double oven and hob; washer/dryer; microwave; fridge; food processor; excellent range of cooking utensils; starter pack provided, including tea, coffee, sugar, pint of milk, washing up liquid, cleaning materials, dishcloth, tea towels, oven cloth, scourer, kitchen roll, bin liners and two toilet rolls; radio/CD player; bed linen, bath mat and towels; barbecue and garden furniture; cot and highchair available on request.
Additional information: There is good mobile phone reception for Orange, Vodaphone and O2. One dog per cottage is allowed at a cost of £25.00 per week. The owners welcome well-behaved family pets accompanied by responsible owners! Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and should not be left alone in the cottage. Oil-fired central heating is included in the tariff. Electricity is by meter reading. Depending on usage, charges for this vary from £2-£15.
