Middleton Mill Farm offers guests a unique holiday experience where you can enjoy an idyllic setting within the beautiful Blackdown Hills, in Devon.
Set within thirty acres of pasture and ancient listed woodland, the Romany caravans are sited on a small farm that rears rare breeds of Large Blacks and Gloucester Old spot pigs, free range blue egg laying Araucana chickens and Soay Sheep from the Isles of Soay, a breed dating back to the Bronze Age. Each caravan has its own log burner, dining area, compact fully functional kitchen, outside seating area with BBQ and its own personal bathroom and toilets just a stone's throw away.
Here you can experience a unique holiday with a difference and enjoy the special charm that these caravans have to offer, whilst relaxing within a beautiful setting.
Sitting beside the River Bolham are a pair of unique Reading Vardo's (Romany wagons) providing an ideal and tranquil setting where you can hide away and escape the pressures of everyday life whilst enjoying the company of those closest to you.
Straddling both the Devon and Somerset borders, Middleton Mill Farm is an ideal location for exploring this beautiful part of the country. With Taunton, Chard, Wellington, Honiton and also Dorset within a twenty minute drive, there are plenty of things to see and do in this area to suit all ages. There an abundance of countrywalks through the stunning Blackdown Hills, Quantock Hills, Dartmoor and Exmoor and also plenty to entertain children of all ages at theme parks, such as Cricket St Thomas, Diggerland, Crealy and many more. For those keen on history there are Museums and Natural Gardens and sports enthusiasts can enjoy local Cricket, Football, Golf, Rugby and Horse Racing.

Each caravan offers more conveniences than you would expect to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. These include:

Each caravan also benefits from having its own log burner, compact but fully functional kitchen, dining area and their own personal bathroom and toilets which are located just a few feet away, along with outdoor seating/dining and BBQ area.
Rosina has been specially designed to offer traditional accommodation, whilst providing the utmost luxury and comfort. It sleeps up to four guests, with a large top bunk and slightly smaller lower bunk. There is a fully functional yet compact kitchen, pull out dining table that will seat four and a logburner for those romantic more chilly winter nights!!
Gypsy-Lea was purchased from a Dorset museum and with a few minimal tweaks the owners have updated it to maximise everyday comforts whilst preserving its original charm and features. With the original Queenie log burner, which had been used for cooking, it now has a fully equipped and functional compact kitchen. There is also a seating area, double bunk and the option of single lower bunk if required.
Additional information: Two pets are accepted. Short breaks available all year round. There is a shared garden. Bed linen is provided free of charge. Plenty of private parking. Smoking is fine on the steps outside the caravan. Flexible changeover day throughout the year. Prices shown are based on 2 guests.
