Pollardscombe Farm is home to two delightful holiday cottages (and two shire horses called Barney and Beauty!) and provides a peaceful retreat for those wishing to escape the pressures of everyday life. Conveniently located, the holiday cottages are within easy reach of Dartmouth, Salcombe, Dartmoor and Kingsbridge providing plenty of attractions and interesting places to visit.

There are many countryside and coastal walks that can be enjoyed from the cottages, allowing you to enjoy the wonderful scenery that this area has to offer. There are also stunning beaches nearby with many offering the opportunity of escaping the crowds.

The peaceful village of Slapton sits within the South Hams area of South Devon and is approximately one mile from Pollardscombe Farm. Within the village there are two good traditional real ale pubs, a village store where you can stock up on provisions and a 13th Century church. Slapton also has a beach (approximately one and a half miles from the cottages) which stretches for some three miles in length, along with a National Nature Reserve.

Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge are a short drive along the beautiful coastline and have much to offer with their interesting shops, boat trips, fine restaurants, sailing and so much more. Alternatively, head a little way inland and explore Dartmoor where you can enjoy the 'great outdoors' with its stunning dramatic landscape of sweeping moorland, pretty villages, windswept Tors and wooded valleys - a haven for wildlife and a walkers paradise!
