Garden Apartment is ideal for couples and sleeps two guests in one flexible bedroom that can either be made up as a king or a twin room. It is located in an enviable position between Torcross beach, and the fresh water lake of Slapton Nature Reserve - the perfect position next to the beach with superb bird watching.
This is a truly ideal location if you enjoy not only bird watching or relaxing on the beach but also walking through unspoilt countryside with magnificent walks along the South Devon Coast Path to many picturesque and secluded coves. Alternatively stroll just a few metres from the front door and take a dip in the sea or cast your line out and enjoy some sea fishing.
Torcross is located in the beautiful South Hams area of South Devon. It has everything for a carefree relaxing holiday by the sea including a good village store, family butcher and a selection of places to enjoy a meal out, without having to use the car.
Other amenities within a short distance of Torcross include: horse riding, sailing, fresh and sea water fishing, tennis and three golf courses. The Kingsbridge Sport Centre has a fantastic indoor swimming pool, indoor bowls and large sports hall.

Garden Apartment opens onto the sheltered walled courtyard garden, positioned between Startlea House (the owners bed and breakfast) and the garages alongside Swans Nest (the owners larger holiday home - see separate advert). With a lovely back-drop of the rounded hills of the South Hams, across the fresh water lake of Slapton Nature Reserve, this is the ideal place for couples to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the sea.
The age of the house is evident from the old stone wall with its ship's timber lintel over the recess and it offers the following accommodation and facilities:
Lounge with comfortable seating, television, DVD player, Hi-Fi with CD player and well stocked book shelves.
Spacious, kitchen/dining room which is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, refrigerator, electric cooker and ample storage space and work tops.
Large bedroom with flexible twin beds that can be zip-linked together to form a king-size double.
Adjacent to the bedroom is the spacious, fully tiled bathroom, with basin, toilet and bath with shower over.
Additional information: Bed linen and towels (hand and bath towels) are provided but please bring your own beach towels. There is central heating throughout the apartment for early and late seasons, and a back up electric heaters in each room for the cooler evenings. Short breaks are available out of season - please enquire with the owner. Dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £4.50 per day (they must be kept out of bedrooms).
