Fancy's Cottage is set in an idyllic, sheltered hidden valley on the edge of Dartmouth and is part of a listed Regency building. It is well located having the River Dart, Sugary Cove and Dartmouth Castle just a short stroll away and the Devon coastal path is opposite the cottage. There is a launching slip for small boats just down the hill at Warfleet Creek.

Dartmouth is 'the Jewel of the beautiful South Hams' and is a vibrant coastal town surrounded by beautiful countryside.  The town is a comfortable fifteen minute walk away from the cottage and offers an excellent selection of gourmet restaurants, pubs and cafes as well as many wonderful boutique shops.  It is a maze of narrow little streets and the cobbled market square features colourful stalls and also a farmers market.  It offers something for everyone including sailing, fishing, boat trips, the Britannia Royal Naval College, National Trust gardens, the castle or the perfect place to relax by the waters edge or on the beach!  During the summer you can take a steam train from Kingswear to Goodrington Sands and Paignton and for those who enjoy golf, the Dartmouth Country Club is only a short drive away as is the Woodlands Leisure Park.  The renowned Blackpool Sands beach is three miles away and the perfect place on a sunny day.
