Swans Nest sleeps up to five guests in two bedrooms and is located in an enviable position between Torcross beach, and the fresh water lake of Slapton Nature Reserve - the perfect position next to the beach with superb bird watching which can be enjoyed from the comfort of the lounge!
This is a truly ideal location if you enjoy not only bird watching or relaxing on the beach but also walking through unspoilt countryside with magnificent walks along the South Devon Coast Path to many picturesque and secluded coves. Alternatively stroll just a few metres from the front door and take a dip in the sea or cast your line out and enjoy some sea fishing.
Torcross is located in the beautiful South Hams area of South Devon. It has everything for a carefree relaxing holiday by the sea including a good village store, family butcher and a selection of places to enjoy a meal out, without having to use the car.
Other amenities within a short distance of Torcross include: horse riding, sailing, fresh and sea water fishing, tennis and three golf courses. The Kingsbridge Sport Centre has a fantastic indoor swimming pool, indoor bowls and large sports hall.

Swans Nest is arranged with the bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor and the lounge and kitchen on the first floor, allowing guests to take full advantage of the magnificent views over Slapton National Nature Reserve. You can sit in the comfort of the lounge and watch the water fowl and migratory flocks right outside the window!
Accommodation comprises:
Spacious lounge with ample comfortable seating for five guests, television, DVD, compact Hi-Fi with CD player, and an electric fire.
Kitchen / dining room which is well equipped with microwave, dish washer, fridge freezer, electric fan assisted oven and hob, washing machine and tumbler drier.
Two bedrooms - one with two single beds (large enough to take another bed) and the other bedroom with a double bed (whilst this room is smaller it can accommodate a cot if required).
Bathroom with a bath with shower over, wash basin and toilet.
Additional information: An additional bed can be provided to sleep one extra guests in the twin bedroom at an additional charge. Bed linen and towels (hand and bath towels) are provided but please bring your own beach towels. There is central heating throughout and the cottage is fully double glazed. The garage is situated right along side and there is a small courtyard for storing all your beach gear and for your washing. Short breaks are available out of season - please enquire with the owner. Dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £4.50 per day (they must be kept out of bedrooms).
