It is a natural playground with safe sandy beaches, wonderful sailing grounds, beautiful National Trust cliff walks along the Coastal Path and country tracks. Boats can be hired, sailing and windsurfer tuition is available locally.

Murrawingi is a great house for a holiday - spacious, comfortable, relaxing and full of light. It is ideal for two families or couples sharing. It is a mile from Salcombe town centre, in a quiet private road and less than 5 minutes walk downhill to South Sands Beach, which is ideal for launching dinghies. The beach is sandy and safe for little children; at low tide there are wonderful rock pools and climbing. From Easter to October a Ferry runs from South Sands to Salcombe town centre.
